This dual function lidded dish can be used with the silicone seal to keep strong flavored cheeses airtight containing the aromas. Alternatively, remove the silicone seal to allow less aromatic cheeses to breathe, maintaining moisture and preserving their distinct flavors and taste. The ceramic base makes an excellent choice for serving a cheese selection directly at the table while the transparent nature of the glass lid allows for clear visibility of the contents. Both parts are dishwasher safe (but remove silicone seal).
